    ATCA member financial assistance - closing date 1st Dec 2006 - 17/11/2006

    Grants are offered for the following:

    1. One ATCA member with a current full membership level will be assisted to attend a conference, course, symposium or workshop of relevance to organ and tissue donation and transplantation or tissue banking held in 2007 in either New Zealand or Australia. Full Members in either New Zealand or Australia are eligible for assistance up to AUD $750.
    2. One ATCA member with a current full membership level will be assisted to attend a conference, course, symposium or workshop of relevance to organ and tissue donation and transplantation or tissue banking each year in locations other than Australia and New Zealand (ie international venues) to the value of AUD $2,000.
    3. Executive will grant up to AUD $500 towards a research project in an area of organ, eye or tissue donation and transplantation where at least one full member of ATCA is listed as a principal researcher/author.
    Applications in writing can be made to the President of ATCA. Please include an official announcement for the conference/course/symposium, with details of registration costs, and estimates of accommodation and fares. Attach a short statement as to the relevance of the conference/course/symposium to your work. Executive may be particularly amenable to applications where the member intends to deliver an oral or poster presentation or is involved in some other way officially with the function. ATCA Executive will meet to decide on the successful applicants. Where a member of Executive is an applicant, a sub-committee will be appointed to consider applications, not including the member of Executive who is the applicant.

    Applications for assistance during 2007 will close on 1st December 2006.
